2021 CCCSFAAA SCHOLARSHIP

Application deadline: Friday, April 30, 2021

The California Community College Student Financial Aid Administrators Association (CCCSFAAA) will sponsor scholarships; a total of ten (10) $500 student scholarships, one (1) $500 scholarships for each of the ten (10) California Community College regions across the state. In addition, there will be one (1) $1,000 scholarship from the "Mariana Deeken, Well it Depends" scholarship fund.

The following criteria must be met in order to apply for the CCCSFAAA Scholarship:

  • Be enrolled in at least 6 units for Spring 2021
  • Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
  • Have remaining need of at least $1000; and
  • Applied for State and/or Federal Financial Aid
  • A statement of special circumstances, unusual hardship, educational and career goals, and why you have chosen these goals.

Scholarships are sources of FREE MONEY! While there are scholarships that are based on financial need, there are also many that are based on other criteria such as grades, test scores, major, special talents, heritage, and community service.


IMPERIAL VALLEY COLLEGE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Imperial Valley College Foundation Office offers an array of scholarships for students attending Imperial Valley College (IVC). Many scholarships at IVC are given by local donors for eligible students at Imperial Valley College. SCHOLARSHIP SCAMS

Be aware of scholarship scams that ask you to pay for financial aid and scholarship information.  Financial aid information and application are free.  Before you pay for financial aid-related services, contact the Financial Aid Office. SCHOLARSHIP WEB LINKS

Another great option to assist you in your scholarship search is scholarships databases you can access through the internet. The database programs will ask you to enter information about your grade point average, interests, activities, employment, etc. They will match your responses to their scholarship database and select scholarships you may be eligible to apply for. If you do not have access to the internet, you may use the computers in the Financial Aid Lab (building 1700). A few of the scholarship websites are listed below:
