Jorge Silva serves on the Imperial Community College District Board of Trustees as the 2020-2021 Student Trustee.  His background is as follows:

• Moved from Mexicali to Imperial in 2015
• Graduated from Imperial High School in July 2019
• Currently a Political Science Major with an Associate Degree for Transfer on Political Science
• Currently Regional Affairs Director of Region 10 in the Student Senate for California Community Colleges
• Currently Associated Student Government President at Imperial Valley College
